Employment Equity Consulting Services

At Afri Training Institute (ATI), we believe employment equity is about so much more than meeting compliance standards. For us, it’s about helping you achieve both compliance and impact.

The Employment Equity Act (EEA) requires businesses with 50 and more employees, to submit Employment Equity Reports to the Department of Labour. Afri Training Institute provides end-to-end Employment Equity consultation — from EE Committee training to EE Plan development and EEA2/EEA4 reporting, helping organisations turn compliance into meaningful workplace transformation.

ATI will help you streamline the Employment Equity process, ensuring compliance with legal requirements while fostering a workplace culture of people centredness, diversity, fairness and impact.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an Employment Equity Manager?

An Employment Equity (EE) Manager is a designated senior employee appointed by the CEO to implement, monitor, and manage the company’s Employment Equity Plan. The EE Manager’s mandate is to drive workplace transformation and ensure fair representation of historically disadvantaged groups – specifically representation of Black people, women, and individuals with disabilities.

If your company has 50 or more employees OR if your company is classified as a “designated employer”, you are legally required to submit EE Reports annually. Designated Employers are classified according to industry-specific turnover values rather than by employee headcount. If you’re not sure if your company is a Designated Employer and therefore required to submit EE Reports, contact us for guidance.

Yes! We believe in the unique contributions individuals with disabilities bring to the workplace. Learn more or contact us to discuss your workplace inclusion needs for persons with disabilities.
